Marconi Coffee - Scarborough

I absolutely love the coffee and the friendly service at this restaurant, especially from Michelle. It's definitely worth going out of my way to work just to get my caffeine fix. And it's great to see Queensland coffee on the menu too - delicious!

I have just moved out from inner suburbs where I was spoiled for choice with coffee and have been struggling. Well no more! Happened to take a chance on Marconi and I am so glad I did the owner Michelle is lovely coffee is grown in Qld and tastes fab and most of all the prices on EVERYTHING are so good!! Do yourself a favour and try it!

Great experience!. Took a chance with this little place for breakfast on Saturday morning and are very glad that we did!! The prices were unbelievably reasonable (the best value we 've seen in the 'cliffe), the food was fresh and delicious, coffee was great and the ladies running the place were very friendly and efficient.<br/ <br/ The only thing is I wish they were open on Sunday mornings too! We 'll be back

Marconi has been taken over by new management and is now known as Industry Co. The restaurant has been purchased by the non-profit organization ROPE, which supports adults with disabilities. Industry Co aims to provide retail experience and training for young adults with disabilities within the café. The menu includes coffee and light meals.

This restaurant is a business that trains young individuals with different disabilities for employment. Every purchase you make here supports someone in living a fulfilling life and being part of the community instead of being left out, as is too often the case. And to top it off, their coffee and baked goods are delicious!
