We have her pig dog w/ maggie sauce on rice, and fish skin fish ball rice noodle soup. pork chop was tender, well spiced, deep fried and sat in maggie sauce, along with swirling, laces that all sauces with rice softened, it was the perfect lunch! reis noodles came with 4 fishballs, 3 slices fish cake, and a plate of fish skin, all fish balls, fish cake had good bouncy textures, fish skin was crispy, but the rice noodles was a bit too soggy and thick. the pork chop rice came with a suppe, and both meals came with a drink! we have soy bean milk, and iced yinyang, soy bean milk was delicious, yinyang was also decent!
This is a Hong Kong style restaurant/cafe. They give you options to set up your own breakfast combo. The prices are reasonable.
Price of dishes here gone up, I guess as in everywhere else. At least increase the portion size a little instead of reducing it even more. Taste of food has dropped. Rice noodle with OX doesn't taste like there is any XO. The Malaysia Curry Laksa, however was lost its flavor. Was a little surprised that they print on the receipt asking to pay tips to server. Rude!
Came on 2022 05 14 was told that there's no 牛肚 (cow stomach) and that need brisket isn't included in the 車仔麵 (cart noodles). Decided to go with the 水餃牛腩麵 (dumpling and brisket noods) and when it comes it's just not a lot of stuff for what it's worth (3 very small pieces of brisket 2 dumplings). I understand prices are on the rise, but it seems there's just no reason to visit them anymore.. Out of Kitchen M (McCowan/7), Joy Noodle (First Markham) and here, Ming's Noodle this is the least tripe in the bowl! If tripe is your jam Joy Noodle at First Markham is most generous! Service here was good tho, and also didn't need to wait when it was peak lunch time. Will return.
