Cafe Wichtig - Scharbeutz

The aspekt is great, the service relaxed, the eating slowly arrive on a busy Friday night, the cocktail excellent, how was the starter of my wife. the main thing was huge and of high quality. I ordered the duck red curry, and it was great. I was. a little pessimistic about it, especially because of the fact that the menu is big and touches on too many kitchens that are bad in my experience. I had duck curries where the meat was boiled in the sauce and the skin soggy. that was another animal. large pieces duck breast with mass of crispy skin sitting on an enormous dish of excellently prepared vegetables and a good sauce. reis was on the side. we had papardelle and risotto. Both were very good, but both the curry and risotto were strongly oversalted, which seems to be a characteristic feature for the German palate rather than a complaining for the restaurant. highly recommended.

The most important location and the famous name are the key of this caffe. the pizza was so dry, I would call it a cracker. service and drinks were ok.

Again and again, when we go after scharbeutz, we go to this icon of the village. it is amazing which good quality and great selection of diners is served in this restaurant, which is from a bottom the icon of scharbeutz and in front of timmendorfer beach. highly recommended!

Must-Go square in the center of timmendorfer beach. beautiful place for caffe, ice cream and snacks. friendly quick service.

This is a good place for a quick lunch close to the beach with direct view of the Ocean. Good food quality but not cheap. We will come back again.
