Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónAlso this evening I was on my own again and I was looking for the “Steilküste” a bit earlier in the evening, which had no place for me on the eve. Also this time the parking lot was well occupied, I just found a single gap for my companion. When entering the guest room, I was kindly greeted by Mr. Tams, the owner standing at the counter. Operation In the guest room some tables were occupied, on others I saw “reserved” signs. So I then asked if there was another room for me, and the service also standing behind the counter showed me a middle table in the background of the room. In the following minutes she was busy bringing drinks to various tables. So it took a while to come to me and I had the menu. Then she asked for my drink request, and I ordered a soft white beer. This brought her after a relatively short time, and as I had already made my decision, she also picked up the order. Mr. Tams was also active in the service, but was practically exclusively concerned with three tables with obvious regular guests, of which two tables were used “Muscheln satt”. Of course, new bowls with shells, empty bowls for the shells, the various sauces and bread were used, and the bowls with the shells were removed. Together, the two had the restaurant very well under control, but here and there there were smaller waiting times. Eating The restaurant's offer includes the good bourgeois Schleswig-Holstein cuisine. Sauermeat and peasant breakfast, both available as a normal and as a small portion, various carvings and steaks, matjes and cutters are on the menu. In addition, seasonal supplements such as as asparagus, green cabbage or Martinsgans come. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a menu on the restaurant's homepage, there are only some hints. I ordered “Putensteak nature with mushrooms, roast potatoes and vegetables with sauce hollandaise” (11.80 €). The white beer as mentioned earlier (0.5l for 3.10 €. After some time when Mr. Tams and his co-worker distributed food and drinks in the restaurant in stetem stream, my food was also served. On the plate was a turkey steak of good size, on it some slices of champignons and a slice of herbal butter. On the edge there was still a small salad set with a turned orange slice, the plate was sprinkled with chopped parsley. There was a bowl with roast potatoes and another smaller one, with peas and carrots and a Klecks sauce hollandaise. The vegetable was obviously TK-good, but was properly prepared and tasted good. The turkey steak was of good quality and perfectly fried, as was the mushroom slices. The roast potatoes were really good, fried with lots of bacon and onions. All potato pieces had roasting sites on at least one side and they were all uniformly browned without black spots. The taste of the food was very good, in quantity I could fill both potatoes and vegetables three times on the plate. Ambience The establishment of the place is rustic, with dark, almost black wooden beams on the ceiling and as well as pillars distributed in the room. A large part of the furniture and the wooden flooring on the walls is held rustic in oak. The tables were covered with white fabric tablecloths and the same blankets that covered places with paper napkins and cutlery. There were small rocks in the middle. The audience consisted of regular guests who were also called by name. Cleanliness The guest room was perfectly clean and well maintained, with dishes, glasses and cutlery there was also no reason to criticise. I didn't visit the toilets, so I can't say anything.
