We were very disappointed with the food. Potatoes with quark were simply frozen. The baked bread season, which is praised in the map with red and white, ham and cheese slices, consisted of red sausage and sliced sausage from the discounter, no white-laid, no ham, no cheese cut. Record went back without apology. Burgers and sausages were okay. Dessert also tasted. Schade, the Kolpingshaus was once one of the best German restaurants in Schweinfurt.
Were here for a cozy dinner at 8. (birthday celebration) The entrance is really great! (Rustikales Holztor) Inside rather dominates a modern, chic ambience. It still looks very warm. You feel comfortable. There were about 12 other guests in the restaurant this evening. I think it might be a bit unpleasant in terms of acoustics when it comes to full utilization. Our service was very accommodating (an older, little gentleman, about 55 years). The drinks were brought quickly. The food was super delicious and fresh. An aubergine spread garnished with cresss and served with two kinds of baguette, introduced the food. As an appetizer there was a cattle broth for me. It was well seasoned. The supplemental salad for carving alone has already earned 5 stars! (Fresh dressing, herbs, no hint of cans/single salad) really great! The carvings themselves were finely panned and slightly juicy. There were frying potatoes that were exactly prepared on the spot. As a dessert we tried a double espresso with vanilla ice cream. Simple but delicious. To sum up, it can be said that the restaurant was unknown to me so far, but it is definitely worth a visit!
Absolutely disappointing it is best! There is a point for the ambience and for the attentive and very dedicated service! That's what it was. In a restaurant that writes handicrafts on the map, I definitely do not expect a finished liver dumplings from the pack of a large German food manufacturer and also no TK vegetables as a shelf! The same applies to the baked semmelknödel discs for the beef roast, which were also a finished product. Almost €54.00 for two soups, two beef roasts and two drinks are just too expensive for this quality and performance and have nothing to do with real craft! Unfortunately not recommended! Absolutely disappointing is probably the best way to describe it! There is one point for the ambience and one for the attentive and very hard-working service! That's it! In a restaurant that writes handicraft on the menu, I definitely don't live expect dumplings from a pack from a large German food manufacturer and no frozen vegetables as an ingredient in a liver dumpling soup for a whopping €6.10! Nice food. I usually don't give up a recession, but that was great.
Very friendly, motivated staff, very good food, nicely served. I can only recommend.
