I tried the lemon bar which was excellent, not too sweet and topped with freeze dried raspberries, a perfect dessert.
We visited during a theme weekend. Stopped into the store later in the day and there was hardly anything left in the case. That's on us. We ended up ordering one item and two coffees. The dessert item was broken when we received it. I put the broken pieces back together to try to get a photo. But the bigger disappointment was waiting over 30 minutes for coffee and seeing people that ordered drinks after you get their order before us. That's a problem. We had to go back up to then window and point out that we were waiting in drinks. Turns out that they just forgot to make them. If we hadn't already paid we would have just left. The desserts might be insta-worthy but the customer service and overall experience we were a fail in our book. Pass on this one unless you don't have other plans for the day and have time to waste waiting around for your order.
Soooo gooooood. Definitely recommend this bake shop. Cute and actually taste good. 10/10
I live walking distance from Sweet Dee's and have been here a few times. Although the pictures make everything look extremely delectable, I was never really blown away by the items (both drinks and sweets) I got here. I got a maple leaf before and felt like a typical donut shop would be preferable. I also ordered one of their drinks that has the sprinkles, etc all over the rim. It was very appealing for an Instagram pic, but more quantity over quality. The last time I went, I ordered a drink and it was pretty decent. It was just about 3 weeks ago and I remember getting a sweet treat along with it. But now I can't even recall what it was, so that tells you it wasn't memorable. Staff is very friendly here and it's in a great location. I just feel like there are much better sweet shops in the Valley. I wouldn't be opposed to trying it again. Just wasn't my favorite. For a better drink and a delectable pastry, check out Berdena's in Old Town instead!
Visited Scottsdale for a little getaway for my sons birthday. Went on trusty Yelp to find cute coffee shops. Since who doesn't like cute coffee shops lol! I love how creative they are with their pastries!! July is Harry Potters birthday month, so they had a Harry Potter theme going on. We got their birthday cheesecake, and their macaron fries that came with pink frosting that came in a mini ketchup bottle. Which was so adorable! Those tasted delicious! They were out of a lot of things when we visited. Which was a bummer, but maybe next time we visit Scottsdale. We will hit them up again!
