Pickles & Olives Bistro - Scugog

Had lunch here on a whim, normally eat at Marwans. Great choice, lovely food and very friendly staff. Will return next time in Port Perry.

We were too hot and tired to cook, so off to town we went. We checked out the menu online and there was plenty of food we enjoy to chose from.Our waiter was excellent- well spoken and well versed in every aspect of the restaurant.I had the Grimbergen stout based on his recommendation – an excellent choice. I had the spinach soup as an appetizer, which was very tasty. We both had the Veal Parmesan, and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. Top that with a little walk through beautiful downtown Port Perry and you have the makings of a wonderful evening!

We regularly enjoy having lunch or dinner here. The staff are friendly and the meals are excellent. Generally you require a reservation. We find we usually order from the extensive daily specials offerings. The restaurant atmosphere is very comfortable as the restaurant layout is fairly small and employs many windows. The food is consistently well prepared and well presented.

I have eaten here several times for dinner and never once been disappointed. The food is good and there is a decent variety, the service is always very good as well as the presentation. There are varied daily specials. You've got to try their pizza. Cozy, clean and the value is good. It's my 'go to' place in Port Perry for dinner.

Always nice variety in the daily specials. Something for everyone. Menu has nice options but I almost always find a daily special to order. Be sure to leave room for dessert too!
