Gusto Handcrafted Pasta Pizza - Seaside

I am very pleased with my dining experience here a couple of weeks ago. The restaurant is well-maintained and seating is very comfortable. They offer bar and high-top seating as well as booth and table seating. My server was Yamilex and she was very kind and attentive. She demonstrated an excellent knowledge of the menu and helped me to select my drink and meal for the evening. This was my first time trying seafood at Gusto and it exceeded my expectations. I had the seared diver scallops atop beautifully-prepared arugula and purple mashed potatoes. On top of the scallops was authentic prosciutto, which was a favorite touch of mine. I am so happy that I was able to dine hear and I hope to bring my family back soon!

Some of the bounciest pasta I've eaten. Pasta does not disappoint. I always recommend this place to my friends that go through Monterey.

Food is very good. We come here a lot and it's delicious. But good lord we had the worst service I've ever had tonight. I cannot believe it. I am so freaking upset. Terrible. I left a 7% tip. I never do that....ever

Decent. Not sure why this has a Michelin nod under the Bib Gourmand category. Not very welcoming staff. Seems to have a 'locals only ' vibe. Food isn 't anything special.

Nothing special. Just overpriced pizza and pasta. Save the money and go somewhere else.
