This was really tasty. The wine list was excellent, and the service was friendly and informative. Lovely atmosphere, would definitely recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.
3 course Menu du Jour for $17.90 euros with a broad selection represents great value in a refined atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly and helpful (quite animated) when assisting to decipher the menu. The inside decor is elegant and very clean. Servings are generous and the dishes present and taste like solid home cooked meals. Good size wine list with wine by the glass available The house white was quite good. Cheese board option included in Menu du Jour
I am vegan, but my partner eats meat. This was the perfect place for us. They have a separate vegan menu, which was tasty and imaginative. I loved the food and my partner said his entrecôte was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
Looked chic and staff polite but not good food at all. Not homemade, tasteless and a waste of money.
I visited with a friend, booking a table for 8pm. We were on time. The ambience and style were inoffensive, but it was 8.40 before we had a menu and even later when we at last had water and were able to order wine and our meal. We both had the soupe de poissons and it was the best I have ever tasted, superb. My friend had a ragout of toreau, a rich beef stew which was tasty but very rich and the portion size was enormous so most of it was wasted. This is not good at all.I had the salt cod which for my taste had not been soaked long enough, it was still very much too salty, hurting the tongue.Neither of us had vegetables except for a half a potato each and a spoonful of veg. I would have loved a selection of seasonal vegetables. The lemon sorbet was fine, ditto the iles flottante though the custard was very sweet for modern taste.Service throughout was dreadful. Smiles do not make up for long, long delays; dashing through the room avoiding eye contact or even hands waving was the norm and we saw couples getting up and going to the front in order to get their bill and pay it. And there can be no excuse for the bread basket arriving as finished our main courses..This was disappointing, such a pity.
