Jakes Place - Shawnee

Previously I had one of the best reubens ever, I could not even reuben them called it) the bartender, waiter brought me!

Meet tonight with friends and their family from the city. we started with twirling rings as an appetizer. These tweeper rings are big! they are hand-crazed and roasted to a perfect cripple. I had her ribeye steak special. it comes with a small salad and large baked carrots. the steak was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. my friend and two others ordered the egg rolls. very tasteful and fritted to a beautiful crumb. the sauce served with them was initially sweet, then the heat entered. then last person ordered the tuna sandwich. it was stacked high between the brot with perfect amount of mayo and spicy. service was great. also the owner janine stopped at our table to see if everything was in order and chatted with us for a minute. I love the support of local restaurants. I also guess if the owners check on the customers. I'm sorry I didn't photograph that we were hungry!

We love this place! friendly staff who really care about them. tons room at this place and great food and drinks prices!

A local bar in Shawnee. Food is good, but it was a really busy night, so it took a bit of time. One of our friends was upset that 100% of their chairs had arms and made it very uncomfortable for her curvy-set hips. I'd definitely come again.

Wow! Great little neighborhood spot! We decided to pop in for a quick dinner as I was craving a good burger. First time here and they knocked it out of the park. The burger was cooked just right; thick patty, crispy edges and juicy inside. Make sure you get it with the hot pepper cheese! The lady had their KC strip and said it was one of the best she's had at a bar grill. We'll definitely return for some more excellent food, and to catch a KU or Chiefs game!
