A very nice mini set in Shediac. It just looks, but it's challenging! Great academic institution and very friendly staff!
Girlfriend and I stopped eating after driving from Saint John to Hopewell Rock on the way to Charlottetown. Was quite hungry and got a wealth here. The lobster club and mussels liked, but the highlight was the raps routine (educated). That's nothing like the poutins you know and apparently takes 4 hours. Like a mash potato ball with salted pork center. Very, very unique and a try really cheap at around $4. The guy at the counter told me what the dishes were.
We tried the Hummer Club sandwich and the Poutine rape at this restaurant. The poutine was surprisingly different from what I was expecting, but it was absolutely delicious. I really wish we had saved room to try some Acadian food, as everything on the menu sounded amazing.
We ordered the lobster roll platter. Staff was friendly however the lobster rolls were a disappointment. There was some mayo at the bottom of the bun, which was toasted on both sides, topped by a piece of lettuce and topped with plain lobster which didn’t...have a lot of flavor. Now I know that “plain” lobster makes me sound a little ungrateful. However I expected a little lemon juice, perhaps some celery and mayo mixed with it was the proper way to serve a lobster roll. There were enough fries on the platter for a small army and I’m afraid much of it went uneaten, though they were tasty.
