Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónTraditional Japanese teishoku mashed yam with rice, and would be better if you were not their only order like tamako yaki and tatami iwashi...
When we got to this place by car, we already knew the place was popular. This is because the parking lot was full, although it was heavily raining outside during the noon. Usually, foreigners are not used to kneeling and eating. But the service there wasn't that bad. The surroundings in the restaurant were authentic 500 years old), and each traditional dish was fresh. Ohh BTW they have their own little gift shop and museum. It was worth the trip.
One of the oldest and the most historical restaurant in Shizuoka. You can enjoy Tororojiru, which is Japanese traditional homemade meal, with Edo age atmosphere.
Very good place if you are a fan of tororo (grated yam).
The service was so good that they served all of us even just two of us ordered
