We enjoyed the singing entertainment of Eric Harris, E.R.I.C. I recommend a Friday at Par 440. It's the perfect date or place of celebration.
Had a great night here. Made a reservation last minute. Was surprised by the cozy atmosphere, good food and drinks and amazing live performer who put me in a great mood! Awesome octopus appetizer, good French onion soup and also enjoyed the stuffed shrimp. Salmon special was simple but delicious
Place was good for a few drinks and have some private time with friends and family. I'd say you can make a visit.
My second visit to your facility and will come back. ERIC was absolutely amazing!! What a gift! It is the reason why you receive an appropriate assessment. The food was fair. During my last visit, however, I enjoyed the food more. Two questions. When the Lord was left from the adjacent table, his plate remained on the table during our entire visit - we came there at 8:30 a.m. and drove to the end. My absolute largest beef was served in plastic cups!!! Is that your regular practice? I refused to order a cocktail. You pay a high price for plastic cups? Given the mood of your facility, I find it so hard to believe that plastic cups are what you regularly present to customers. What was it about? When I return and ERIC is my draw, I hope you stop and despair from the cups. Their prices seem fair, but the cups do not fit with a fifty dollar plus duck. The staff was sufficient and busy. Maybe you need additional staff to clean tables.
Very rarely I go out of my way to leave a bad review everywhere, but after the service itself and the party I had received today I must absolutely. If I could leave 0 stars, I would be on the arrival of the restaurant, there were 0 employees anywhere near the entrance of the restaurant to welcome/savour customers. I went to the terrace where my reservation was. Other people at my party were told? Just sit somewhere without being guided to the reserved table or even asking about reservations. Even more than I went to go to the terrace, any staff I saw, turned or looked away to avoid contact as if they could not be disturbed. We were not offered any kind of beverage menu to start with. We ordered our drinks and appetizers and then our food. They certainly came in a timely way, everything was done and presented well, outside the pitcher of Sangria, which tasted so much watered and thrown with discolored/overduely ripe fruits. When time came to pay the tab, we were ordered at the price of the pitchers of Sangria. We said that we need to understand the area in which we were, and that we should not have a problem with the drink, as it was? Upper shelf? So, we shouldn't be able to just go 2 glasses? while we were all clear, and the pitcher was empty. He said that we had to understand that we were in Newark and that if these are the prices we compare them with, we compare their products with something diluted down? Mario Lavecchia refused to give any kind of a drink menu to justify these prices or said ingredients that were claimed to be ?top shelf?, still he had a reason to assume we were from Newark to say that. The $700 tab was paid before any discrepancy we started with. I have never been met with such adversaries or inconveniences from management or waiters in any institution before and will not come back to eat here.
