Hungry Dragon - Short Pump

I traveled all day and was feeling tired, definitely in the mood for some Asian food. Unfortunately, my usual spot was closed on Mondays, so I decided to try this restaurant instead. I opted for takeout rather than delivery. The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was divine. The lo mein was flavorful and packed with chicken, and it was sweet rather than overly salty like many dishes from other places. Although I didn’t order them, I noticed they had beer and wine available for takeout (and delivery too). Hungry Dragon has definitely won me over with this order, and I plan to try more of their dishes in the near future. It turned out to be a blessing that my usual spot was closed because I wouldn’t have discovered this fantastic restaurant otherwise.

I had a fantastic dining experience that deserves praise! I was really impressed by the attentiveness of our server, who refilled my soda multiple times without me even asking. The presence of cloth napkins was a pleasant surprise—it’s not something I expected at such affordable prices. The lunch specials, which included soup, were typically priced at about eight dollars, and the food was quite good with generous portions. We definitely left feeling satisfied. The space is a bit small, so accommodating larger groups might be challenging.
