The service was slow, with the waitress only coming to our table once and then focusing her attention on another table for the rest of the meal. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, as the couple seated behind us were loud and disruptive, with the woman on a speakerphone call and the man playing a noisy game. Additionally, the waitress at the table next to us had exposed underwear, which was distracting and unprofessional. Overall, our dining experience was unpleasant and we regretted using a gift card we had won. We do not plan to return to this restaurant and would not recommend it to others. The atmosphere, service, and food were all subpar.
I ordered the grandma's breakfast platter. The hash browns were overcooked, the bacon was very crispy, the ham was in tiny pieces instead of a full slice, and the pancakes were terrible. They had a strange seasoning on them that made them taste like they were cooked after a steak or burger. They were also very thin. It was nothing like what was advertised on the menu pictures. The eggs were undercooked, with runny whites. The waiter was unprepared to take orders because he forgot his tablet, leading to multiple returns to our table due to mistakes in the order taking process for everyone's meals.
We had to wait a long time to be served at the restaurant. Eventually, we were informed that we had been seated in a closed section. The service was poor and they were out of cornbread.
I've been there many times and it was the first time that I was there that the service was really bad. and they weren't that crowded so everything else is pretty good. I'm saying our waitress bring bread to other people after she told us that she would bring our bread in a minute then she took other people's orders before ours it was just really a bad experience.
I try not to leave negative reviews, but this place sorely disappointed me... Arrived to pick up my order at curbside a little early and went ahead and checked in... After sitting in curbside parking for about 15 minutes after my order was said to be completed, I thought maybe I should call and check on the order... Called and called and called, nobody answered the phone... I ended up having to go in and wait another 20 minutes for my curbside order , only to be told the phones aren 't working, and THEN I noticed my entire order wasn 't there... Glad I checked it before leaving! The employee left and came back with missing items about 4 times... Then I get to my room to find that my Soda and my dessert were still missing, so I paid for Items I didn 't even receive... i was too tired after a 3 and a half hour trip to even fight anymore... I 've NEVER had this type of experience at a Cracker Barrel... DEFINITELY won 't patronize this one again! ??
