The staff was friendly, the rooms were nice with all necessary amenities, and the food was freshly cooked and delicious. I even booked a night for my partner and her friend to stay, so they could pick me up after my discharge. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.
Nice pub. Excellent parking. Nice friendly staff. Our table was strangely very sticky. Never come across this before. Nice waitress came and wiped it, however, it was still extremely sticky. In fact, my serviette stuck to the table. I checked teo other tables and they were the same Food was ok. Transport cafe standard. I had tasteless steak pie My wife had tasteless fish. For the prices charged, it was ok. Wont rush to go back there though.
Excellent meal at the boot. I had Brie and cranberry tart with new potatoes and vegetables and my partner had gammon pineapple and egg and chips. Both were delicious!
Ye Olde Boote Inn, a three-star establishment, is a short one-minute walk from Whittington Castle. This family-run inn set in a 16th-century coaching house is also seven miles from Chirk Castle. The six rooms are furnished in a classic style and feature en suite bathrooms and tea and coffee-making facilities. The restaurant features a plaid decor serving pub classics and modern global dishes, a cozy bar with dark wood furnishings, oak-beamed ceilings, cask ales, and malt whiskies. As a bonus, a full English breakfast is available.
The Inn was perfect for a weekend stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had very good food- dinner and breakfast- stayed in a roomy and pleasant room and the prices were very reasonable.
