The food was excellent. Tríed the salmon and the trout and they were better than expected. The waiter Xio was very nice she offered a small wine tasting before we made the final choice of our wine by the glass. I strongly recommend the place.
Went here for lunch. Had the stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer, 6 stuffed mushrooms in a creamy sauce, enough for two. Sea Scallops, 7 came in the order, as much as a full dinner order and Flat Iron Steak. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. Total bill was $62.77 for lunch so it is pricey.
This is a good option just off of Michigan Ave. The prices are decent, the menu is seasonal and transparent, calories and allergies are identified, and there is a copious wine list. The gluten free flat breads were a treat as pizza-like dishes are hard to come by when you are eating without wheat. The salmon was good but the seasonal veggies left something to be desired. They were a bit limp and seemed over cooked. The desert tray is hard to resist. It is a $3 shot glass of some spectacular flavor combinations. I had a good experience with friendly service and a menu that had something for everyone.
I came here for Thanksgiving dinner since I was away from home. They were extremely packed, but the service was excellent and the turkey dinner was outstanding. I had a great time and would definitely come back here again. Thank you to the great staff and bartender Tony. Cheers
