Der Hammerwirt - Siegsdorf

We have been regular guests in Hammerwirt for many years and have kept the bar in the worst Corona times. Now that it is better, the place does not return to its guests. Self-service in a top-class restaurant that is really just here. The beer garden closed, for it tables in the hot yard next to the parking lot. The summit was today when we wanted to book a table around 19h. “18 or 8:00, we take twice and I say the same, self-service”. I'm going to Mc Donalds, I know what's waiting for me. Unfortunately, we have not only, but also many of our neighbours who have been second homeowners in the region for many years have to experience this experience. I would like to emphasise once again: The kitchen is good, but the switch has been changed in the service. This can be for the holiday season, as the region has overflowed, but there are also September, October, November.... So, go into you, then you can also recover your loyal regulars.

Always friendly service and excellent regional cuisine. A higher level. We like to come back (always)!

I was on 11.01.2020 at a company party in Hammerwirt.... unfortunately the buffet offered was more than bad!!! Most of the time KALT was lovingly dressed and completely missed the taste!!! ?????????

Siegsdorf is a beautiful place in Chiemgau. As an intermediate station on the journey to Croatia, Carinthia, the Salzburger Land or Venice, or as an ideal holiday resort, which offers many destinations in the area and can make hikers and cyclists more than satisfied, this landmark is ideal. We have made a stop here for the repeated time and have departed this time on recommendation from friends (Sandra B. and Ralph at Hammerwirt. The welcoming by the boss was already very warm and easy. There followed the room cover in the Alte Schmiede (No.2 , coffee and cake in the lauschiegen beer garden, an area exploration and a 1A dinner that left nothing to be desired. Since we had a number of traffic jams and strong holiday return traffic behind us from Venice by car, we then fell tired into the comfortable beds of the pension. Breakfast was very good. Genuine juices, great bread rolls selection, eggs, fresh fruit, various types of cheese and sausage, a tea bar, plenty of cereals, cakes etc. Coffee must also be mentioned in praise at this point. In future, we will no longer drive our previous stop at Maria Eck for the benefit of the Hammerwirt. There's a lot, much nicer. We felt very, very good and will come back. Also longer! Thank you.
