I know it's hard to go to a place for the first time and have a bad experience, but that must happen in every restaurant, give it another chance. I've been here a couple of times a week for almost six months. Yeah, I had a few days for it to take over half an hour to get my BLT... But it happens. Most of the time they are fast and joyful to be around and the food is delicious!
Wife eat there and loved it . She had a bowl of Clam Chowder and thought it was very good. But the best item was 4 pieces of thin toast with cheese on it and put face down on the fry pan. She says we need to go. So guess as what? We will be going.
I ordered a veggie burrito and was SO PLEASED! I got an excellent medely of veggies all cooked and wrapped so nicely into the perfect pocket of breakfast goodness : love coming here early in the morning and watching the world pass by he folks in the kitchen the serving staff are superb give them your love and patience if they're slammed cause it happens! Thanks for the stellar breakfast y'all
This restaurant truly lives up to its name. The food is flavorful and well-prepared. I tried the Pesto chicken sandwich and enjoyed every bite, while the fries had a nice kick to them. The menu offers great options. However, I found the service lacking. The staff seemed indifferent to my presence, completing their tasks without any warmth or a greeting. It wasn't until I left a 60% tip that someone finally showed interest in providing better customer service. Additionally, I wasn't fond of the bathroom situation; a key on a spoon is used to unlock the door. While I understand the need to keep the bathroom secure for customers, having to carry a communal spoon back into the restaurant and then lacking a place to wash my hands afterward was not ideal. Overall, I would highly recommend this place. It has a cozy small-town bistro vibe that draws you in, and the food is fantastic.
My wife and I stayed overnight in Silverton and were on the lookout for a breakfast spot when we stumbled upon Main St Bistro. The service was outstanding—definitely the best we've experienced in a long time. The food was also excellent and incredibly affordable. I always like to try Brisket and Gravy wherever I go, and I can usually tell if it’s made from scratch or out of a can. Their Brisket and Gravy was the best I’ve had since Kentucky. My wife also loved her French toast. You can't go wrong visiting this place; it’s a must-try. We will definitely be coming back!
