Main Moon Chinese - SIMSBURY

Have not been to Main Moon in several years, but decided to give it another try. Just as bad as I remember. The only thing worse than the food was the owners ? teenaged son who was totally disrespectful. He screemed at me, and then abruptly tossed my order on to the counter. I ate half my chicken with cashews and tossed the rest it was so bad. I do not recommend Main Moon and I will not be back.

What a great meal for teachers appreciation week! I had lunch for the teachers at a day care and bought a few family dinners for them for lunch. the staff was helpful and polite. also the prizes were great. the teachers razed and sneaked over eating and said they would order from there in the future. were amazing and it made for happy teachers! we are looking forward to the future

Family owned by a wonderful, warm friendly family, Main Moon has become a Simsbury treasure as far as I'm concerned; and have lived in this town for almost 50 years. The food is very reliable, meaning once you've had a dish, you can expect it to always taste just as good as the first time you enjoyed it. Service is friendly, delivery is always very speedy! These people own work there work too hard and too many hours, but they always greet customers warmly and with lots of friendly smiles. We have many favorite dishes, so let me tell you some of them you should consider trying! I'll do appetizers now, and continue in future reviews. APPETIZERS WANTON CHICKEN BROTH based SOUPS: Both the House Special regular versions are OUTSTANDING! Every time we are sick, and especially if I'm not feeling well enough to make my homemade matzo ball soup, we order their soup! Their broth is amazing. Your soup will arrive with so many wantons or noodles chicken noodle or chicken rice are equally as delicious and chicken, we usually order additional quarts of broth! HOT SOUR SOUP: This is the only place I like hot sour soup. Taste is very good. GINGER WANTONS: oh my goodness... just order these; trust me! Even leftover and cold from the fridge has an amazing taste and texture. So good! EGG ROLLS: Best egg rolls in the valley. I recommend the pork egg rolls. And order the homemade duck mustard sauces trust me.. so worth the 1 . Mix the sauces together.. adding the mustard in small amounts because even if you have a bad cold, it will clear your sinuses! , bite one end off and scoop the sauce on top like an ice cream cone. When my father taught me this technique and said it was a chemical reaction . Let me know what you think if you try it. SPARERIBS: Again Main Moon is the best! ... with bones or boneless you will be pleased if you like them. HUNAN WONTON: Delicious! The peanut inspired sauce goes so well with these. Large dinner portions for a low price! the food came hot and delicious!

If I could make 0 stars, I would. I had waited an hour to see all the food is wrong. every single article was wrong. the kerl repeated the order and still sent any article wrong. will never order again and would recommend you to do that.
