Soma Grille - SIMSBURY

An interesting menu and very friendly staff. I'm out of town, but they always come to reload.

Eating is amazing, but rather poor form as restaurant to have reservations up to 9 o'clock and have the kitchen immediately to have 9. we had 8:45 clock reservation and the first thing we were sitting on from the host when we sat, said that the kitchen closes by 9. filz super hastened and had to decide immediately about appetizer, escape and dessert. several restaurants just as well in the opposite they do not push.

The food was good. the waiter really tried to get up, but our eating took a very long time to arrive. they seemed to be very short employees. they composed our dessert, that was nice and gave me a delicious complementary egg nog. the staff was pleasant and helpful. the worst in the evening was the high noise level. I really had problems hearing my es roommate about the loud noise in the room. I will not go back out of this ground until it is warm enough to eat outside.

First time at Soma. Service was very good, house manager visited our table made recommendations very personable. My scallops were pan seared perfectly beet salad was awesome. Hubby had duck asked for sauce on bottom for crisp skin as well as medium rare...duck was sauced on top cooked well done...no he did not mention to our server by his choice. Otherwise a good evening we would come back.

There were five of us and it was a great dining experience!
