Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe enjoyed a teppanyaki buffet for lunch, and to top off our meal, we were served a complimentary birthday ice cream. I must say, the quality and taste of the food were worth every penny (around $50 per person). The ingredients were incredibly fresh, except for the salmon sashimi, which was the highlight of the meal, and very generous portions were provided. We were quite surprised that they knew to serve an ice cream flavor that each of us really loved! Regardless of the overall dining experience, we were truly happy with both the food and the service. A special shoutout to the chef, who was very attentive and seemed to understand what we hoped to see and taste during our meal. The only downside was the parking situation; there is no free parking since the restaurant is independent from the Goodwood Park Hotel. For those driving to dinner, the nearest option is the Far East Plaza shopping center next to the hotel. It costs $1.07 for the first hour and $1.07 for each additional 30 minutes, which is much cheaper than the hotel’s rates of $5.25 for the first hour and $2 for every subsequent 30 minutes. People have high expectations for Japanese restaurants in terms of quality and service, not just because of the price but also due to the trust placed in the chef and staff. Despite some mixed reviews, I believe it’s important to stay positive and work hard to improve. I will definitely be back for more teppanyaki! Cheers to Shima Restaurant!
For lunch, I opted for the buffet and it was a great choice. There was a delightful selection of oysters available, which I believe were complimentary. I thought I could finish everything during my first round, followed by extra orders of beef, oysters, and salmon, but it turned out to be impossible. The first round was so satisfying and of such high quality that I was completely full and couldn't order anything more. The food quality was excellent, and the staff was efficient, attentive, and friendly. Overall, it was definitely worth the money.
A great lunch experience! Each dish was served promptly, fresh, and uniquely seasoned. It was the perfect selection for hungry customers. The all-you-can-eat buffet is an excellent offering, and the staff was wonderful. We concluded our meal with a delicious vanilla ice cream for dessert.
I still remember visiting this place when I was a child. I sat on the second floor, with cars cruising along the sizzling tracks of Scotts Road behind me, while large cuts of beef...
The food was enjoyable, though slightly expensive. The US Ribeye was only average, but the chicken, prawns, and scallops were all outstanding. The garlic rice and vegetables were excellent as well.
