Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis restaurant offers delicious food prepared with love, located on the roadside in a slightly secluded area. The homemade Goan dishes are affordable and provide great value for money. Although the ambiance may not be the best, there are limited options in Siolim village for authentic Goan cuisine.
This is an awesome Goan cuisine place. It is very modest operation. So don't expect music, dance, glitz or glamour. It is home style food served efficiently without much fanfare. We loved it after we got the recommendation from a local. We went back for lunch. Our fussy 5 yr old like it and ate well. We loved the Goan mackerel curry and rice too. The starters were also very good.
I went to this restaurant one night and had the roast beef, which was amazing. It was a great value for money place, and I hope it remains that way. I had a glimpse into the kitchen and saw an elderly lady cooking over the fire, which reassured me that my Goan meal would be authentic. I received 8-9 pieces of roast beef with onions and tomatoes, and it was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in Siolim.
We decided to try out this restaurant for lunch today after seeing it multiple times while passing by. It is located on the main Siolim road, so there is quite a bit of traffic noise as it is situated right on the roadside. The restaurant is small and can accommodate around 20 to 25 people. The service was prompt, friendly, and polite, and the prices were quite reasonable. The food was decent, although nothing extraordinary. The "sorpotel" dish lacked seasoning, vinegar, and marination. However, the mixed fried rice was delicious, and the Seradura dessert, a Portuguese specialty, was worth mentioning. I would definitely return to this place, especially for the fried rice.
I stopped there to get out of the rain. Service was prompt and polite, but the food was not really worth remembering.
