Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónOur daughter has us a wowcher deal for our Christmas gift. Although the room was very nice and spacious and the staff is very friendly, we found it very humiliating that by using a wwcher we could not use the dining room for our evening meal. we also got a different and very limited menu.
Popped in for a drink bite to eat. Staff very helpful friendly. Beautiful location. Food was absolutely delicious
Meg and there went beyond and beyond for us as our party of 20 one for a night of 'Walken chips' to celebrate the beginning of a day-weekend. delicious food, great local beer, even better staff. (they stayed late open, only for us!
This hotel looks tired and in need of a lot of tlc. Booked 2 nights in the Skirsare Room but had to move rooms shortly after arrival because room overlooked the kitchen extractor fan, faulty bedside light and a bath that filled up when taking a shower. The Garsdale Room was better, but with damp on the ceiling and in need of redecorating. The positives were a very comfortable bed and great dale views, but if you're over 6ft tall it's difficult to take a shower. On the positive side the freshly cooked trout caught that day by the chef was superb. The chef is definitely very talented.
The room was spotless, and the tea and coffee were a nice touch. The ensuite bathroom was also immaculate. I can't praise the food and service enough—especially the steak and ale pie, which was fantastic! The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. I loved everything about this place. The only issue was that my partner, who has a disability, found the stairs challenging; a lift or even a stair lift would be very beneficial. I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to others. Thank you!
