Found this great little neighborhood bar randomly and now we try to stop as often as possible when we are in this way! Friendly bartenders and regulars will make you feel at home here (especially if you have some good songs on the jukebox! Cheers!
What a great place to hang out. On Wednesday and Friday there is a free pool. The drinks are reasonable and the bartenders are great. Can you ask more of a diver?
Great neighborhood bar. The waitress was awesome and the regulars were good company. Love the atmosphere. Will certainly be back.
Great service, cheap drinks and plenty of parking. Best dive bar in the area with friendly people.

I'm not sure what kind of establishment requires three forms of identification just to enter. It's the responsibility of law enforcement to check IDs, not the bar staff. While state law does require valid identification, the Hispanic or Latino woman at the bar denied us entry, insisting we provide three or four forms of ID, which is absolutely unreasonable. Her demeanor was quite rude, and it felt as though her behavior was influenced by our skin color. She doesn't seem fit to serve patrons.

The service was not great, and the drinks were just average. Don't expect too much from this place. On the bright side, they do have a nice parking lot, if that matters to you.

I was taken aback that she assumed I would have a passport, especially since I am a U.S. citizen. She then insisted that I looked like I was 21, which was why she needed all that identification. Another woman at the bar tried to interject, but the bartender ignored her and continued watching television with another patron. My friends and I decided it was best to leave without further argument. In this day and age, who carries three forms of ID, including a passport? I have never experienced such blatant racism in my own country, and this incident reminded me of the prejudice tied to the color of my skin. As an older man with children aged 8 and 10, it’s disheartening to be treated this way. I would advise people of color to think carefully before visiting this establishment.

It is what it is, a neighborhood watering hole where everybody knows your name. Divey? I 'd rather describe this come-as-you-are joint as down to earth. Neither trendy nor upscale, it nonetheless feels as familiar and comfortable as a well-worn easy chair. When we visited, the bar was populated with Generation X-ers and Millennials. The owner is friendly and welcoming. There is a small room in the back which can be rented for private parties. There 's no kitchen, but you can bring in your own food.

Brandy is by far the best bartender I've ever had at a bar She's so genuine and friendly She suggested my new favorite drink. Highly recommended!!!!!!!
Stopped in the first day of the suburban bars being open to meet up with old friends and Lynda who must be Skokie’s friendliest bartender. Had a great time. Matter of fact went back two days later. Beer and whisky specials everyday.

The restaurant offers excellent service with friendly staff in the bar. The prices are reasonable and there is a short wait time, as it is not too crowded. The locals are welcoming and friendly to newcomers. They have a pool table, dart board, pinball machine, and a pleasant outdoor smoking area in the garden.

I stopped in around 10pm . It was quite nice . It was a very nice neighborhood place. I wasn't there very long but I will definitely go back. My camera wasn't working so I didn't take any pictures, but next time I will.

The atmosphere is welcoming and the customer service is excellent.

I didn't order any food, so I can't give a rating on that. The bartender was rude, but she did apologize for not being able to make a Manhattan. The atmosphere was just okay.
