La Cocina Mexican - Smithfield

The atmosphere in this restaurant was quite lovely; it had a cozy and welcoming vibe. The service was excellent as well. Our waiter promptly took our order, and our food and drinks arrived shortly after.

The music was a bit too loud for my liking, but the food was fresh and delicious. The service was quick and attentive. I've visited several locations, and this was the first one I had been to several years ago.

As soon as we arrived, we were served chips and dips while our drink orders were taken. Each of us ordered something different from the menu, and our meals arrived quickly after we placed our orders. I typically go for the Carne Asada, and I have to say it was the best I've had—the beef was thicker and bursting with flavor. To our delight, my grandson absolutely loved his meal and still had room for dessert! We couldn’t resist trying the desserts either, including cheesecake tacos, flan, and fried ice cream. They were all delicious. The staff was both professional and friendly, making us feel right at home. I will definitely be coming back!

Our waiter was outstanding. He was friendly and very patient. The food was amazing, and the portion sizes were just right.

Every time my spouse and I come to this restaurant, we are never disappointed. This past time, we got full off of the plates that we had and it costed $32. The food comes out really quick, but they probably prep everything beforehand. The waiters are always friendly as well! We don’t have any complaints. Only thing is, it is a family restaurant, so be prepared for there to be families and/or children. It’s not the quietest of atmosphere, but we don’t mind it much.
