I've been going to this bar/restaurant for 20 yrs now. Their food isn't the best but there are a few items that are normally dependable and consistently delicious. Unfortunately this time both items ordered were not the usual quality. Chicken fingers were mostly soggy breading and cheese fries weren't cooked the normal way. These are the ONLY reason my friend and I go for the nostalgia food of old days. Maybe it was just an off day but there was only 1 server on who also was bar tending, the wait time was extremely long when there were only a handful of guests, and she was kind of rude, rather flustered, not exactly enjoyable. The entire place literally smelled like a toilet and urine when we walked in. The entire experience was disappointing and I should have just left when I had to wait 15 mins to be seated when the place was empty. It wasn't a busy time or I'd be a bit more understanding.
