Mellow Mushroom - Snellville

On June 10, 2022, I had a takeout experience that I’d rate 4 stars. While it wasn’t the best Mellow Mushroom pizza I’ve had, it was still enjoyable. The pretzels and cheese were good too. I really wish Mellow Mushroom wasn’t so pricey, and it would be great if they offered cheese with the pretzels or a half order of bites! It's not the store's fault that it's costly, but if it were more affordable, I would order it more frequently. Paying $13 for a 10-inch pizza is a bit much! Again, it wasn’t the best Mellow Mushroom pizza I’ve had, but it wasn’t the worst either. The curbside service was decent and quick. I’m not sure if my pizza was made early and left out or if it’s usually like this, but I definitely need to give the dine-in experience a try again sometime!

My husband is new to the vegan lifestyle, so we were searching for restaurants with vegan-friendly options, and Mellow Mushroom came highly recommended. We ordered the Vegan Veggie Pizza, and it was really good! The service was quick too. We’ll definitely be returning to sample more of their pizzas. As someone who isn't vegan, I'm looking forward to trying some of their other offerings as well.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfying the medium-sized pizza was. I initially thought I would still be hungry after eating four slices, but I was completely full. I chose to create my own pizza with pesto sauce, pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. I ordered online for curbside pickup and received it promptly. The pizza was absolutely delicious!

Adorable inside! The staff was friendly the inside as stated was an amazing theme decorated with twists of 70s vibes and the Mushroom theme was carried throughout the restaruant. Food was great, delicious, and decently timed. All in all 5 stars.

I haven't ordered anything that was short of delectable, but I am admittedly totally smitten with their Holy Shiitake Mushroom pizza (I sometimes add spinach or ground beef if I want to jazz it up a bit). While it may seem like a minor detail to the unaware observer, the garlic aioli swirl they meticulously finish with takes the flavor of this already amazingly delicious pizza to another dimension of deliciousness.
