Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, but unfortunately, I didn't. Perhaps I had too high expectations, having my favorite poke spot in the islands as a benchmark—Umeke's! The poke here felt heavy and lacked the refreshing quality I was hoping for. On the bright side, the service was polite, which is definitely a plus. They often have lines out the door, so maybe I just visited on an off day.
This restaurant is fantastic for fresh poke! My wife and I always get a poke plate, adding slices of sesame leaves, sesame oil, and extra rice to turn it into a delicious bibimbap. We absolutely love it!
The food here is fantastic! Everything I’ve tried has been wonderful. I first had the nachos, and this time I opted for the bowl, and I wasn’t disappointed at all. The wonton chips also hold up remarkably well even a day after purchasing them.
Lines out the door during peak hours says it all. This is not the place for you if you like your poke bowl filled to the rim with various toppings and sauces. The poke bowl here is just fresh fish and rice so you can actually taste the freshness. It is also the place with the best poke nachos in town.
This place has the best poke bowl and the taste is closest to what I had in Hawaii. I normally get the poke plate with half rice half salad, and the poke’s portion is satisfying! Their new location is newer, brighter and looks a lot nicer than the previous spot.
