MUCH APPRECIATED!!! 2 ???? for overall service; 4 ???? for food overall, due to there being barely any sauce on my Asian chicken salad. I could hardly taste it, and I knew there shouldordinarily be much more, from my eating this dish at a variety of other Panera places. The real reason, though, for this, sinceI normally would 've simply gone up asked for more, was relative to exactly that there were other missing items with ourorders, but each of the 3 separate times my mom or I went up to the serving counter where we picked up our completed order, thestaff was haughty, irritated acting, or with the 3rd visit by my mom, simply ignored! She posed her inquiry 3x, she told me whenshe returned to our table, but the 3 staff present, didn 't reply or even acknowledge her, though 1 young man looked directly ather! Please try to understand our customer position as this was the day my dad, also present, had his 1st post stroke MRI, whichwas a very stressful event for all 3 of us! We 'd traveled nearly 3 hours to get to the local hospital that did the test it wasall incredibly difficult on my poor dad who is also attempting to recover from a very rare disease named, Castleman 's disease! Harder yet upon his full time, non stop caregiver, my mother! When we entered placed our orders with the seemingly 20 'ish, very pretty, dark haired female, she was curt at our menu questions, not really what I 'd call friendly, but also not awful. When she took my severe food allergy incredibly serious, she jumped way up on my scale of service, naturally. But when we wereeating, my dad went on about how delicious his bread was (the piece that came warmed with each of our meals), prompting mom toreturn to the front counter (this was after being utterly ignored 3x at the end counter) to try to buy dad some to take home, this female dramatically sighed, then told her they don 't sell it. She said nothing else. When m
I'm a grad student who cannot focus at me own desk so, for over a year, nearly every Saturday and Sunday, I sit in the same booth for 8-10 hours and usually order breakfast, lunch, and snacks while I'm there. It's Panera, the food is standard Panerafood (tasty if a little overpriced). But this specific location has some really amazing staff members. So many little nicetiesand gestures add up: from an FYI that they just refilled the Hazelnut coffee, to asking what I'm working on today, and sometimesslipping me an extra cookie when I'm there until closing. Some other reviews here are frustrating to me; just like anyfast-casual type restaurant, there are busy moments during the day, Just like other major chain restaurants, the person whohands you your mac and cheese doesn't decide how much goes in a bowl or how much turkey there is on your sandwich. The staffworks hard to get things right and do it with a smile.
Came a couple times while I was visiting Burlington, the food was very good. Panera is a typical bread company-slash coffee shop with plenty of pastry and bread varieties. The only thing I did not like was one of the cashier's who had a bit of an attitude in my opinion or felt like she was rushing us to make a decision on what we wanted to order and we had literally just walked in. I found Vermont people are the most cordial in the world but I had a good time while I was their. So if your ever in the area and want to stop for some lunch this is a good place.
Always quick to get your order done, Panera always seems to have good work flow. Much credit to these hard workers and their friendly demeanor!
This location (Shelburne Road) suffers from current staffing challenges. It's unfortunate. The Williston location- not so much- they have an efficient, sharp, well trained staff.
