Village Tavern Grill South Elgin

Very nice place. Great service. Food was good the drinks were delicious. The Bom Pop drink was delicious!! Literally tasted like a bom pop. Chicken Tenders were amazing!!

This is one of my favorite places to visit for lunch or dinner. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. The prices are pretty reasonable as well.

Really good barfood and a fun atmosphere. The chicken fingers (suggested by the server) were very good and the sauces were flavorful. Overly generous portion sizes, left everyone at the table full and happy. Glad we tried it. Probably will hit it again the next time we are in town.

A friend and, I went to Village Tavern Grill for lunch this past Saturday. We started off with the XXL Potato Skins. I love potato skins and, these were super good! To start, my meal came with either soup or salad. I went with the creamy chicken with rice soup. The soup was really, really good. For my main course, I ordered Mom 's Perfect Pot Roast and, it was pretty good. It came with a side of mashed potatoes and, vegetable of the day (a mix of carrots, cauliflower and, broccoli). I just wish they served dinner rolls with the meal. My friend ordered the Village Chicken Salad. It was huge; even the chicken pieces were huge. It did look beautiful and, delicious. Our server, she was great! Halfway through our meal, she brought us each a fresh drink which was nice. If/when I go there again, I will try something else. Not sure what yet. Overall, it 's a great place to go for lunch.

We had a WONDERFUL experience there today! Wait Staff were wonderful the food was delicious!! Can't wait to go back!!! 5 out of 5 Stars!!
