The portion sizes are decent, though slightly smaller compared to what you might find in American diners, which makes the prices feel a bit high. However, the grilled sandwich is a standout dish that you definitely shouldn't miss! Overall, a great experience.
The portion sizes are generous, and the service is excellent, but the food didn't leave a lasting impression. If you're in Heavenly Village and looking for a spot to enjoy some drinks, this place is a solid choice. Come with a big appetite, but don't expect the food to match the stunning scenery.
The food here is excellent! My husband ordered Menudo, which didn't have the best flavor, so I would rate that a B. I got the Chile Relleno burrito, and it was delicious and juicy! The green salsa was also very good. The customer service was top-notch. We'll definitely be returning, and I encourage others to come as well! They serve authentic Mexican cuisine.
Really good authentic Mexican restaurant at reasonable prices. They make their own tortillas. They're a bit on the small side but very good. It's across the street from the south end of the Heavenly Village shopping strip. They only take cash though.
Just go if you like delicious authentic Mexican cuisine. You can see the pride of property in this restaurant. It is small, but it is clean and the decor is very beautiful. Almost as nice as the lady who worked the counter and took care of all the tables. This is Cinco de Mayo 2022 and the lunch was bigger than the restaurant, but it manages every customer with glove care. I ordered the Carnitas Plato and when I took my first bite, I understood why it was busy. My wife had the Huevos ranchero and enjoyed it. It has no bar or pleasure drinks or a live music area. But it does not need these “accessories” to overcome a lack of delicious authentic Mexican foods. We have from the great budget restaurants, the mexican-inspired kind like Taco Bell with larger portions, and great selection of alcohol to destroy your taste buds and make food appear better. Mayas doesn't need that. Get what you long, get what you pay and do business with a team that delivers on their mission to provide great tasting food.
