Lovely atmosphere, good choice on menu ,the Sunday roast was excellent we will return. The pub was very busy

Visited last night for the first time in about 12 months. Have previously enjoyed our visits and experienced good service and food. Last night was a different experience. The service was appalling, complete lack of interest from the staff and all evening had to ask and chase to be served drinks and food. The menu is interesting and the food was tasty but very overpriced for the portion sizes. We were dining with friends who have also visited many times before. They said had they been dining alone last night they would of walked out in disgust. A very disappointing evening out and will not be returning.

Diamond Wedding family celebration. Our family group of adults and children enjoyed an afternoon buffet to celebrate the Diamond Wedding anniversary of my husband and myself. The food was delicious and the surroundings welcoming. We were able to arrange the decorations to our taste in the dining room and had access to the garden which was great for the children. Kath, our hostess was attentive and helpful as usual and the weather was perfect. Thank you Royal Oak.

Lovely selection of beers and soft drinks. Excellent menu , very well cooked. The staff are amazing , and the other customers were very friendly.
