Chipotle - South Portland

I absolutely love the food at Chipotle. If I were only reviewing the food, I would give it 5 stars. However, I have been to this particular location multiple times and have had issues with online orders for pickup. Almost every time, the food is not ready until nearly an hour after the "guaranteed time". Most recently, after a 12-hour shift, I ordered my food to be ready at 7:30pm, arrived at 7:40pm expecting it to be done, and ended up waiting in the store until 8:40pm before it was ready. This was a common issue, as there were many other customers waiting as well. It was frustrating to see people who had just walked in to order get their food immediately while the rest of us had to wait so long.

I enjoyed the vegan burrito I ordered, but the staff were not very friendly. We had to remind them to lower the price when they didn't have lettuce available.

Recently I worked a 12-hour shift, ordered the food to be ready at 19:30, came at 19:40, provided it has to be done, and I was in the store until 8:40 before my food was ready, and I was not the only person with this problem. The walls were lined with people waiting for their food. In the meantime, people would go upstairs and order and get their food right away. Very frustrating.

I ordered the vegan Burrito and found the staff to be unfriendly. We had to ask for a lower price since they didn't have any salad available.
