Shades Brewing - South Salt Lake

I have been to this restaurant several times and never had any issues, but today when I sat at the bar, I had to wait a long time just to be acknowledged and served. Finally, after half an hour, I was able to order a drink, but was then told to move and go back to the end of the line to show my ID. It was disappointing, especially since I had a pleasant conversation with the owners last time I was here.

Spacious dining area with excellent service. Some of the beers on tap seemed mismatched for the season, such as a winter warmer in the middle of June. The passion fruit was delightful, with a flavor reminiscent of the actual fruit.

I absolutely adore this place. While the entrance in a back alley may be inconvenient, once inside the taproom, it's fantastic. The beers they offer are unique and may not be for everyone, but they have a wide enough selection that everyone is bound to find something they enjoy.

Beer tasted as if it were 70% foam water. for the aromatized beer I am quite sure that they really use low quality / artificial aromen because they gave me a migraine.

This will be my new go to spot in SLC. The brewery is fun and a great vibe. Workers were also super nice! Quality beer and they do flights. The back outdoor patio couldn't be better!
