Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónA tasty new take in traditional Dalmatian recipes; a very rich Tom Yum variation, loaded with local fish, was followed by a tasty shellbone, thanks to the memories of the owner's grandma. A pleasant intermezzo in the form of free amuse leg (handmade pasta, in thick (also made home) ink mayonnaise, and with steamed sampi dressed a welcome breath before the arrival of the great main course: tećada a hearty brodetto, full of fish, mussels and crustacaeans. The wine list is usually local, but very well chosen. Portion size is correct and satisfying. Excellent price quality ratio. Very recommended.
Thank you Mazzgoon from a grateful vegetarian! So good we ate there twice in 2 days. I struggled to find vegetarian options in Croatia at first (other than side salads or simple pasta so Mazzgoon was a hidden gem for me! We walked past once or twice, seeing the 3 tables on the tiny side street, not realising there was a beautiful courtyard at the back. I'm so glad the friendly lady at the front chatted to us and showed me the menu options otherwise I may never have discovered Mazzgoon. I had a delicious raw noodle pad Thai that was surprisingly filling, full of sticky peanut and sesame flavours, and I returned the next day to try the seaweed, asparagus and goat cheese salad which had lovely Japanese flavours running through it. My husband had a fantastic smoky risotto that he absolutely loved. The homemade breads were incredible, so soft and perfect with the lovely Croatian olive oil. The staff were really helpful guiding me to wines that I might like (and I did their wines were all really great!
Great food with even better service.Loved wine selection. All staff was great, it was a busy night, but it was such a lovely experience all together. Will come back for sure.
Fantastic food and wine with a great staff. Dined outside, in the winter under a heatlamp. The charcuterie is enough for three!
Great restaurant with really interesting menu. They really are different so if you're a foodie then this is a great place for dinner. The menu is sparse with detail so definitely make sure to ask the serving staff for more info. Things often aren't what they seem (but in a good way).
