The Pita Pit - St. Catharines

I'm still a big little Deli shop guy, but until Franchises go this place is the best! I would rather go to Pita Pit as a subway or another subshop as the ingredients taste much fresher. It is...fairly pricy to pay for a pack, but they really fill it out the whole way! I always get quite every topping and like the chicken swarm. I personally love the pitas, but if you are gluten-free, you can get it in a bowl. In any case, you would recommend coming here next time looking for a healthy fast food place to take your family!

Seriously, I could eat one of these pitas every day. Quick, choose your own ingredients, healthy and super delicious!

I received an email for a complimentary children's meal with the purchase of an adult entree at Pita Pit. However, when I went to the Fairview Mall location, they would not honor the promotion as advertised. Instead, they only offered a free bag of chips with my meal. This was a letdown for me as I was hoping for a healthier option. I tried to request a small smoothie instead, even offering to pay the price difference, but they insisted that chips were the only complimentary choice. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience.

Four of us stayed for lunch after visiting the beach. Despite the fact that our server was in training, the other two employees were not helpful. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap on white bread. Three different servers kept asking me what type of pita I wanted and how I wanted it prepared. I had to repeat my order multiple times, which became frustrating. The restaurant was very loud and we had trouble hearing our server who spoke softly. The pita wrap was made with the wrong type of salad and had very little filling. The price of $7 for such a small wrap seemed excessive. We will not be returning to this restaurant. Our recent dining experience at another place was also disappointing.

I was disappointed with the lack of chicken in my chicken sandwich at this restaurant. There were more toppings than actual chicken. However, we were able to satisfy our cravings by getting ice cream next door afterwards.
