Oppikaai - St. Helena Bay

We tried this place on a whim for my birthday in November. Wow please take it from me that this seafood is unlike anything you've had before. It is extremely fresh and very tasty. It is obvious that the owners have a love affair with the sea and a passion for cooking sea food. It was outstanding and very memorable, and we cannot wait to go back. What would've made this even better would've been a nice tall glass of beer. Unfortunately the restaurant did not yet have a liquor license when we visited (apparently in progress), but patrons are welcome to bring their own drinks with.

Absolutely amazing experience. Food is out of this world. Staff is friendly n efficient and the owner is so down to earth and so friendly. Really a lovely experience and such value for money. Would definitely come back. Awesome awesome awesome...

It was my first visit, but it felt like I was part of the family. Charl and Melody(owners); man what do I say about them. They are so humble with beautiful personalities. They are people's people. From management to staff. Everything and I mean everything was on point. I can not fault them. Charl, Melody, I salute you guys on a job well done. Lovely family restaurant! Kids can have plenty fun. Overlook St Helena Bay Harbour, fishing trawlers and various other boats launch there specially snoek season.

Visited Oppikaai Restaurant. Wow! What an experience!! Five star service and the food was out of this world! Plus the owner,Charl...made us feel so welcome! I would definitely recommend Oppikaai.
