Secret Garden Restaurant - St. John's

The meal was excellent. We enjoyed using the amuse-bouche and palate cleanser. The scallops and salmon were cooked perfectly. The chef even came to our table to greet us and shared some history about the restaurant.

The service and food at this restaurant were excellent. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience. It would be perfect for a small gathering or a corporate dinner. The atmosphere was romantic and the host was friendly and knowledgeable. She even offered to take our picture and brought out a candle in the dessert for me. A lovely touch.

We ate three meals at this restaurant, 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner. The restaurant is located on the bottom floor of The Doctors House Inn and Spa, where we stayed for two nights. This made it exceedingly convenient to eat at the Secret Garden. 
The...dining room is intimate enough tables for the guests at the Inn, although Breakfast and Dinner are open to the public (reservations required . Everything is set up for a great dining experience: the music, the service, the overall decorating of the room, the location. The chef did a great job with all of our meals and service is extremely friendly. All aspects of the meals at this restaurant were fantastic. Although the selections for each meal is limited, there is something for everyone. Please do yourself a favour and eat here (and stay too! .


My man and I recently enjoyed a jubilee dinner in the secret garden restaurant. we enjoyed the quiet and intimate atmosphere. service was great, and they were very attentive. that was delicious. very well seasoned and my beef-denderloin was very tender. we had. a berry parfait for dessert, which was amazing, and the chef's choice (Cod pusher) was good, although I wish the bungalow was made fresh. the price for the meal was a bit high. I was disappointed that after dinner tea was not with the meal. the meal service is a menu, and at the end we cost (two people) the same price as staying in the hotel. this is the only good gastronomic option in the opposite and was a pleasant experience, despite something overpriced feeling.

Amazing eating in a wonderful situation! my partner and I were very satisfied with eating and the personal was so helpful and beautiful. never disappointed to come back here
