We had a fantastic, welcoming experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and satisfying. However, it appears that their usual buffet hours have been temporarily altered. It is recommended to call the number provided above to confirm before visiting. We were warmly welcomed with a refreshing beverage and served a delicious meal consisting of rice, lentils, mixed vegetables (potatoes, green beans, sweet potatoes, okra, carrots, onions, and peppers), flatbread, lemon water, and two desserts.
I've been here a few times, but after my last experience I don't think I will go back. I do not share the same religious beliefs as the Hare Krishna and am a vegan, and one employee was trying to convince me to eat the dairy items/not be a vegan anymore! I personally felt that was way over the line. Also, I asked which buffet items were vegan and was incorrectly told that a dessert containing ghee (clarified butter) was vegan. Thankfully I found out before I ate it! There are normally a lot of vegan items, but now I'm not sure I can go back I can't say I trust the staff anymore as a vegan! The chapati and other bread items were my favorite parts of my meal, but the other buffet items were bland. I've had much better Indian food in my experience.
I dined at this restaurant once when I was in college. I had to attend a religious service there for a mission. I was impressed by the service of Krishna, despite not being religious myself, and was happy that I had visited. As a result of attending the service, I got to enjoy the dinner buffet for free! It was delicious. However, every time I try to go back on weekends, they are closed, so be sure to check their hours before you go. My friend, who is from here, has eaten there multiple times and always raves about how good it is. I hope to return soon. Upon reflection, I may have overestimated this place. 4/5 stars.
I ate here once when I was in college; I had to take part in her religious service for a job. I appreciated the service krishna more than anything [I am not religious] and was glad to have visited. since I visited the service, I have to eat the dinner buffet for free! nice! it was very good; but every time I make the trek out there [at the weekend] they are not open, so make sure to check their hours before they go! my friend who is originally from here has eaten there several times and always talks about how good this place is! hopefully I will make it back soon! updated from the previous review on Tuesday, 27 november 2007 in retrospect, I feel that I overestimated this place, 4 kühe.
