Very disappointed, rice and cabbage wasn't done , ribs tough. Been there years ago and it was great, don't know what changed.

Appeared as highly rated soul food eatery. Surprisingly, the place was awful. The food was awful, as well. The service was lacking. The place reeked of gasoline. I ordered the fried chicken dinner. The meat was not fully cooked.

Atwaters is our go-to restaurant, the food is amazing and we're always treated like family. my husband dropped his wallet inside and Mr. Atwater found us outside to return it to us!!
