Ordered takeout while visiting the area I was really underwhelmed. I was excited at first that the menu is so vegan-friendly and I *love* banh mi and boba. However, the eggplant banh mi and tofu banh mi both had very little eggplant/tofu. This was very disappointing to me. My bf said the boba pearls were some of the worst he’s had but I feel like they were just so-so and I’m giving the benefit of a doubt that they may have been more chewy because of the amount of time between ordering and consuming. If you are local, maybe this is the best boba in town? I dunno. I thought it was okay, not great, at least not compared to the boba we’re used to. Props to the restaurant for having many vegan options and having those options labeled. Sorry I can’t rate higher because that was such a disappointing meal.
I’ve heard of this place for a few months now, and let me tell you if you’re in the area, you MUST stop here! It’s Korean and Vietnamese fusion and all the bubble tea can be made vegan, and half the menu is vegan with how very accommodating they are. They even have vegan cheese. I got their caramel brown sugar boba with oat milk and for banh mi I got their veggie but instead of hummus and roasted red pepper, I did sriracha and kimchi. The boba was really good and so flavorful and the banh mi was very fresh with the ingredients and their bread is the most freshest of banh mi baguette I’ve seen! I’ll be back time and time again to try all their other options since they also have pho and ramen for when it gets cold!
I absolutely love bubble tea, but I often struggle to find vegan options since many local restaurants use honey for the boba pearls. During a visit to relatives in Stamford, I came across this place and was drawn in by the lovely view. It certainly did not disappoint! I ordered the caramel brown sugar bubble tea with oat milk and decaffeinated tea, which I didn't realize they could accommodate, and it was delicious! The server was very knowledgeable about the vegan options. Although the food items sounded tempting and were clearly labeled on the menu, I wasn't looking for a meal at that moment. I enjoyed it so much that I want to go back tomorrow before heading home!
I've been hearing about this place for a few months, and I must say, if you're in the area, you absolutely need to stop by! It's a fusion of Korean and Vietnamese cuisine, and they offer a completely vegan version of their bubble tea, as well as half of their menu being vegan-friendly. They even have vegan cheese! I ordered their caramel brown sugar boba with oat milk, and for the banh mi, I chose the veggie option, swapping out the hummus and roasted red pepper for sriracha and kimchi. The boba was incredibly flavorful, and the banh mi was made with the freshest ingredients; their baguette is the best I've encountered! I will definitely be returning to explore the rest of their menu, especially since they also serve pho and ramen for those chilly days!
I absolutely love bubble tea, but it can be difficult to find vegan options since most local places use honey in their boba pearls. While visiting relatives in Stamford, I came across this restaurant and was impressed! I tried the caramel brown sugar bubble tea with oat milk and decaf tea, which I didn’t know was an option. It was fantastic! The staff was very well-informed about the vegan choices available. Although the food items on the menu sounded great and were clearly labeled, I wasn't looking for a meal at that time. I'm definitely planning to return tomorrow before heading back home because it was that good!
