Excellent wines. When the Straussi has opened you can enjoy delicious torches in cozy atmospheres. Sale of wines in the attached shop.
Good wines, tasteful flame cake, worth a visit
Friendly service and a good selection of local food and wine. Would recommend the asparagus flammkuchen and the good white wine. Food and drink are both very cheap.
This restaurant belongs to the Weisler family. They grow their grapes on the slopes of the local hill with the historical fortress. While the building is well maintained, bright and clean, and the food will keep you happy, the best part in this place it is absolutely Alsatian personality. My German host, a local teenager, was equally fluent in English and French... Or almost fluent in English, but deftly and conveniently switched between the three languages to my curiosity about the menu, the kitchen staff behind it, and the semi-local French customers who pumped directly across the border to get a pizza for the night. This restaurant serves a basic price such as pizzas and sandwiches and traditional dishes from Schwartzwald. The winery shows both great and quirky charm in its crisp buildings, decorated with local crafts. This is also a close walk from the Goethe Hotel, which is a great place to stay.
