The potatoes were dry and barely warm, and the bread was dry and stale. At $34, the meal was overpriced and not worth it at all. On the other hand, the breakfast we had was well-presented and affordable. It was a surprising contrast to our disappointing dinner experience.
We had planned reservations for our anniversary dinner but arrived to a crowded restaurant with disorganized staff. We were told to wait and would be seated, but another staff member said there were no tables available despite our reservation. After waiting, we were eventually offered a menu but told we could only sit at the bar. We explained we had a reservation for a Prime Rib dinner, but were informed they were out of Prime Rib and Liver, leaving us with only three menu options. After waiting 39 minutes without any satisfactory service, we decided to leave. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of customer care and disregard for our reservation. We will not be returning to this restaurant or recommending it to others. Our anniversary dinner was ruined.
We had dinner at this restaurant. We often drive by, but always hesitate to go in when it looks too crowded. However, this time was different! The decor was quite eclectic, with a nautical theme and a mix of other styles. Our server was a bit slow with the service, even though we were seated close to the server station. We didn't have a reservation, so we took what we could get. The beer selection was good, featuring both local and American options. Our server wasn't very knowledgeable about the drinks available. We placed our order at the same time as our drinks, but they took a while to arrive. The food was tasty, but presented in a somewhat haphazard way. The prices on the menu were reasonable. Overall, we might consider returning to this restaurant, but it felt more like a casual dining experience than a special occasion. Perhaps just for a night out, rather than for a special celebration.
We stopped at lunch in this beautiful restaurant. We had different meals eggs Benedikt, chicken wing, Mylars Hamburger, pulled pig on a bungalow. We all loved our meals the food was hot and freshly prepared. Delicious pommes. No problem replacing a salad...for homeries with the eggs Benedict. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. Would definitely stop again!
We went midweek for lunch and were surprised to find the restaurant fully packed with seniors on fall colour bus tours. Despite that we were seated quite quickly and service was good. I generally like this place and have only been a few times but...I felt the soup was misrepresented. We were told the soup of the day was beef and vegetable. It was hamburger and vegetable. We were fully expecting beef. Although it was. Rey tasty, this is not right.
