Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI placed an order online and called to confirm, referencing the prices listed on their online menu. When I arrived to pick up my order, I noticed that the prices had increased by $1 to $2 each. The employee explained that the online menu was outdated and that prices had been raised two years ago. Had I known about the price increase, I would not have chosen to order from this restaurant. It might be beneficial for the restaurant to review their pricing and update their menu to avoid misleading customers. I plan to visit the restaurant in person to take a look at their current menu and will provide an updated review based on my findings regarding their pricing practices.
We went into the restaurant with an emotional support dog, 2 of the 5 of us were veterans. We were told we couldn’t sit inside by the owners son, so we were escorted to the pavilion. We were frustrated, and expressed it as such to the waiter (again, the owners son) and then the owner when she came out to ask what the problem was. We expressed our issue, she accused us of being racist. At no point was ANYTHING like that expressed. We then said we’d leave. Instead of simply being able to leave, the owner then called the police on us AS WE WERE LEAVING…we explained the situation to the police…he gave us a recommendation for a better restaurant , and sent us on our way. Never again will I ever step foot inside this sorry excuse of a restaurant.
My husband and I decided to try out this restaurant to see what their food was like. He ordered nachos and I had a taco salad. The nachos looked like chips with dog food on top, and the taco salad was decent until we got to the meat, which was unpleasant. We asked for salsa and chips, but only received a small amount of salsa each time we asked for more. Overall, we were not impressed with the food. The pictures on the wall of the dishes looked appetizing, but the reality did not meet our expectations. We will not be returning to this restaurant and do not recommend it to others.
Authentic mexican restaurant. Staff was very friendly with great accents. We tried the pollo El bernal, the Coco famous fries (Fajita chicken w/ queso cheese on a bed of fries. Both were delicious. Definitely a staple of Steelville MO. They also have pretty unique desserts. We tried the banana chimi, flan( mexican custard) and the Pina Nevada (deep fried tortilla, w/grilled pineapple, ice cream, and some type of authentic mexican caramel) all were great. I look forward to my next visit.???
The food was delicious and our waiter Jared was very personable and made sure our drinks were full.
