How to start, you are greeted by Garth, the owner, he is married to a beautiful lady who happens to be a French chef. I will travel for 2 hours to eat lunch or dinner at this restaurant, from the selection of their ingredients, to the perfect cooking to the beautiful plate, your tummy and your soul is filled with gorgeous food, it is relaxed and on your second visit you feel like family, Garth is charming and enjoys discussing his love of food and ingredients with you, he has an amazing cellar and knowledge of wine, it is rare when you can trust the owner to select your wine, but we always do and are served delicious wine at a reasonable price, I have eaten at some of the best restaurants in London and Europe, I enjoy them all, but the whole experience of Clos is perfect, please go and enjoy this amazing experience

This is our favourite place for a special meal. The whole experience is first class. We were warmly greeted and shown to seats in front of the fire where we then had delicious canapés. This was followed by the most perfect meal, the chef is just brilliant. Fine wine and puddings later, we had to reluctantly leave. The service is exceptional. They really do care about their customers here. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

The food is fantastic, service the same, the wine, great choices, glass of Champagne to start which was delicious, would not dream of coming to this neck of the woods without visiting out most favourite of restaurants,thank you for another wonderful evening, we’ll be back soon
