They do not cut corners with appetizers or main courses (we haven't tried dessert yet, but they offer a great variety). The Samosa Star is incredible—give it a try, and you'll see what I mean. There’s no dried or reheated rubbish here; everything is freshly made and expertly seasoned, served with a tamarind sauce and a side of chickpea curry. It’s a family-run business, and you can really taste the freshness—they don’t rely on pre-ground spices like many other curry houses out there; only fresh ingredients are used, and everything is beautifully presented. The drinks are also reasonably priced, and they frequently update their selection of guest ales, ciders, and wines, which is consistently fantastic. If you haven’t tried this place yet, you definitely won’t regret it!
During our third visit on Saturday, we were not disappointed! The food was delicious, and they even gave us a doggy bag for the bread we couldn’t finish but didn’t want to waste since it was too good. The service was exceptional; nothing was too much trouble, and everyone was smiling. We will definitely be returning, and I highly recommend it to anyone. Thank you!
Fantastic food and wonderfully friendly staff! This place is a hidden gem that I've passed by every day for 15 years, haha. They catered for our Tean Valley netball party without a hitch, and everyone had smiles all around! Definitely give it a try, everyone!
Lovely night out with the family, great food, friendly staff. English and Indian options, so everyone is happy, would recommend.
Can't recommend Golden Keg enough, absolutely stunning food, and always made to feel so welcome.
