The Cock Inn - Stoke-on-Trent

The burgers are gourmet quality. I expected a typical pubburger. no! absolutely delicious seasoned bark with perfectly cooked speck, a large piece of cheese and delicious fresh vegetables. the pommes were also pretty good. it's doubtful that after eating you have a place for dessert. do not let the outer of this place fool them. it may look like a regular pub, but eating that they serve is much better than they originally expect. service was friendly and very attentive. will be back soon.

I fought for lunch here. the staff was friendly and the food was excellent. highly recommended.

A real pub, cozy, pleasant and friendly. the beautiful is that it is not a viehmarkt or a scheune. it feels sensitive. there is a restaurant and a few outside spaces. what is there not to like.

So, yeah it was good. The four of us had different mains which we all enjoyed. It's was a little cold though, which isn't great when you want to spend time at the table, I noticed a couple of diners kept their coats on. Lovely roaring fire heat at the bar but that that didn't extend to the restaurant. We'll definitely visit again if we're in the area but perhaps when the weather warms up!
