From Patty's mood changer (Cosmo) to the Ceasars salad to the dessert. We had Bruschetta appetizer (a special menu), the lobster ravioli and fetters chicken Alfredo. The tiramasu was miraculous, but the limoncello dessert was for to die! The portions were perfect. Will definitely come back to Vermont on our next trip.
Charming and authentic Italian restaurant! The owner came to our table and told us the history of the restaurant, which is the oldest in the area. The food was amazing with a number of his moms special recipes! Very recommended!
My partner and I made 2 trips to Stowe, and we ate here both times. We came back in the second year because we enjoyed it so much in the first year. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is cozy after a day of skiing, and the service is great. But what really brought it home this time was the generous, friendly and thoughtful support of the staff (Special shout out to Tony, Bob, and another friendly staff whose name I unfortunately did not catch) when I realized after the meal that I had blocked my keys in my car. They let us sit in the restaurant after closing while I called AAA, and Tony offered very friendly to deal with AAA when they arrived in the morning. Both Tony and Bob ALSO offered us to drive us back to our hotel. They went beyond and beyond and were very neighbors. In the end, the situation was solved with their help, and my partner and I felt both very well fed and very well looked after at Trattoria La Festa. It is not only good food, good service and a beautiful ambience, but also really friendly people who take care of their neighbours and visitors, and will help without a second thought if you are in a difficult situation. I can't recommend this place very much. We will definitely return on our next trip to Stowe.
We came to Vermont for a weekend trip and came here for dinner. Let's just say this is hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been. From the beginning to the end of the group of us were 10 girls so full, but we could not stop eating the delicious food. For beginners we had the bread and whipped butter, the whipped butter was one of the best spreads I ever had. Then we had a Caesar salad 10/10!!! For Entrees, I decided to share with some of the girls so that we can all try a little of any entree menu item. We shared the Fatuccine con funghi, the Auberginenturm and the Burrata. The fetters were the best truffle flutters I've ever had! The Auberginenturm was delicious, and also the Burrata. The staff was so friendly, friendly and very friendly. That seemed to be a family restaurant, with the best service that gives you such a happy feeling. Everything tastes so fresh, and is very tasteful I usually ask for garlic
Great Italian food that was comparable to local restaurants in Florence, Italy! Every dish was fantastic, the staff was terrific, and the location is great. Make a reservation or come early, because this place is VERY popular and fills up!
