Waitress at the end said oh I was nice and didn't charge you the mandatory 15% gratuity we charge for 8 or more. Menu says 10....it's a BBq joint where 90% of the food is pre smoked/cooked before and the restis fried no idea what happened with the service but it was bad. The food tasted excellent thought. But to top it off 4 of us ended up with food poisoning.
It was our first time here and we won’t be back. We had a reservation with another family and arrived on time. People who showed up after us had their food and were gone before we had ours. Our food also came out at different times so some were done eating before others even got their plate. By the time the last person at our table got their meal, we had waited almost two hours.The mac N cheese was horrible. We paid 19$ for 99 cent pasta with not enough cheese sauce on it. It tasted like plain white noodles. The nashville chicken sandwich was two boxed chicken strips on a bun. The pop is 3.50 a can. For what we paid we could have went to a restaurant like Bella Vita or the Apollo and got better food and service. Definitely not worth the time or money to eat here.There is also a 15% mandatory gratuity . I always tip but feel insulted at the fact that they make it mandatory.
Do not recommend. Got severe food poisoning with their chicken Alfredo.Stay sway from them.
A few friends and I spotted in here on our way through town. Unfortunately not the experience we were hoping for. All of our ribs were deep fried, super dry and had a fishy taste to them. Chicken wings were dry to the bone as well.None of us were able to grind through finishing the meal, nor were we comped meals for the subpar delivery. The server was respectful but that's about all good we could say about our visit.Also, who puts green onions in cornbread!?
Everything was great until the food came out… the ribs where VERRY dry, fishy tasting and hard with very little meat. turns out they deep fry the ribs as to why the outside skin is hard. Not only that but the side of rice tasted as if lemon juice was poured inside.. the corn bread has green onions inside which fist glance looks like mold, never in my life have I ever seen or heard of green onion in cornbread. And lastly, the server was great. She was trying her best to satisfy us even though the situation was out of her hands. Wasn’t the experience we where hopping for, would not go back!
